This project created a grand and bold focal point in the client's living room. The existing outdated fireplace was removed and replaced with a high end Mendota unit complete with brick liner and andirons. The chase was extended all the way up to the ceiling to take advantage of the dramatic height of the room. The stacked stone finish is enhanced with a mantel and beams reclaimed from old barn wood to add interest.
