Our client simply asked, "I've just purchased three old log cabins from Tennessee. Will you make a house out of them?" The idea proved to be very rewarding. Together we studied the size and proportion of each cabin and decided to put the kitchen in the small cabin, the living room in the large cabin, and the master bedroom and loft in the third cabin. Keeping the architectural integrity of the cabins intact while 'adding on' the remaining program of space was key to the overall concept. The result is simple and very authentic.
