The Sacred Circle Series by Carrie MaKenna explores the circle as a subject with its own personality and traits as it is found in nature and spirituality. The Circle is an inclusive form that provides for abstract and representational imagery.
Each original painting is textured with an under-layment of thick acrylic paste that is painted over. The image continues around each edge. Artwork is self-framing with 2-inch gallery wrapped canvas with hanging wire attached. It hangs flat against the wall.
