The curly maple slab was salvaged on its way to being ground up into paper at the pulp mill. The ipe legs are salvaged offcuts from decking projects, bound for the recycling center. The legs are finished with OSMO natural hardwax oil, and the top is finished with one coat of Danish oil followed by several coats of a gloss urethane for protection. The slightly curved legs are a new take on a classic design, and bring in a hint of Asian influence to a fairly modern piece.
The piece is approximately 42"L x 20"W x 19"H.
