San Diego Condo
The master bath in this 80's era condo was sorely in need of an update. The vanities were slapped together from cheap plywood and so low that my client had to kneel in order to wash his face. The tile was a pale purple ceramic that looked sad and dingy.
My clients use this condo as a vacation getaway and we wanted to create the feeling of being in a high-end boutique hotel.
We raised the vanities and, to break up their 10' length, put a make-up table between them.
The subtle floral tile on the wall is an amazing Porcelanosa product that has been glazed 4 times. At the time it wasn't even available in the US and I had to beg the rep to import it for us. Silver and metal accents add just a hint of coolness to the warm beige and taupe color scheme.
