Santa Fe Inspired Home

This downtown Alpharetta townhome was thoughtfully designed to reflect our client’s Santa Fe–inspired aesthetic and love of travel. We leaned into deep, rich hues—layering browns, blacks, maroons, and burnt tones—to create a moody yet inviting space. Texture and depth played a key role, with tactile elements like bouclé, cowhide, leather, and rattan layered throughout the home through drapery, art, and statement lighting. Natural materials such as stone, wood, marble, metal, iron, and plaster ground the space, while black and brass finishes add a refined edge to this intentionally styled home. Fresh, new accessories were thoughtfully blended with the client’s curated personal collection, resulting in a home that feels layered, collected, and uniquely his. An outdoor oasis was also created by bringing the interior palette and textures outside, seamlessly connecting the two spaces.

Subtle renovations elevated the home without sacrificing its character. In the kitchen, we updated the cabinet color, backsplash, countertops, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and hardware. We designed a custom plastered range hood with rivet detailing to integrate cohesively with the cabinetry while complementing the new finishes. The dining room was enveloped in a rich, dramatic black and enhanced with crown molding to add depth and architectural interest. We also reimagined the fireplace mantel and built-ins with a modern, contrasting update—bringing custom details, interest, and a bold personality to the heart of the home
