Sapele is a fine mahogany that grows in Africa. It has fabulous grain structure reminiscent of the mahogany used in 18th & 19th century furniture. Much of the wood harvested is now plantation grown so its use is more sustainable than many other tropical woods. It makes a very sophisticated custom garage door.
