Seacliff on the Green
Seacliff on the Green – Layered, Light-Filled, and Just the Right Amount of Luxe
Tucked inside a quiet Huntington Beach enclave, this townhome renovation was all about creating ease, clarity, and comfort. Laura Brophy Interiors reimagined the dated interiors with a warm, neutral foundation—then added thoughtful texture, custom details, and a few unexpected moments to give the home its soul.
The layout was opened up to encourage natural light and improve flow, while every finish and furnishing was chosen to feel intentional but never overdone. This was a lesson in restraint—in letting the materials and light do the work. A balance of softness and structure makes the space feel elevated but approachable, stylish without ever trying too hard.
Design Highlights:
- Crisp, clean-lined millwork throughout, adding tailored contrast to soft surroundings
- Layered textures like boucle, linen, oak, and woven grasscloth, creating subtle dimension
- Simple, sculptural lighting that brings form without overwhelming the space
- Earth-toned palette that shifts gently with the light throughout the day
- Streamlined fireplace redesign, turning a once-heavy feature into a grounding focal point
- Compact, functional kitchen refresh with new cabinetry, matte hardware, and artisanal tile
Seacliff on the Green is proof that even modest footprints can feel refined and full of personality when every element has a purpose. This project reflects Laura Brophy Interiors’ belief that good design should feel as natural as it looks.
