Seal Beach Lap & Play Pool
This project was a balance of function and keeping as much greenery as possible. You can swim laps, play the pool or spa and still feel like you are within nature.
This was a fun project to help the client capture that balance of function and appearance. We worked safely through the “Stay at Home” order as an essential construction element to complete just in time for StayCation!
The Challenge
The property slopes up toward the rear property line and there were established plants that the client wanted to keep.
The Solution
The solution was to push the pool back into the hillside as far as possible and make the rear wall of the pool act as a retaining wall. We kept all of the plants the client wanted and supplemented with additional plants and a new lawn when the pool was complete.
