The client wanted their master bedroom to feel like one of the cottages they’ve been to in other countries. Their master bedroom has great views of the forest outside, so I kept the color palette neutral and added pops of color through the decor, allowing the great light and the green trees to be the focus. I used many of their great memento to do a gallery wall in an asymmetrical layout, using a vintage German ladder as a shelf. I also found a vintage bird cage, and hung a planter from that as a plant stand. The teal shutters were another vintage find.
