This large U-shaped kitchen includes an island with ample seating space. The cabinets are by Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. This is Wellborn's Sandia door style with a painted finish in Dove gray and a Bronze glaze.

Between the island and long run of cabinets on the sink wall there is a ton of countertop workspace for meal preparation as well as small appliances. The countertops are "Q" engineered quartz by MSI in Fossil Brown color.

The homeowner chose to have the larger bottom drawers constructed as 5 piece drawer fronts to match the Sandia door style. The same option can be applied to the top drawer as well, but in this case they retain the standard Shaker slab drawer front to accommodate the larger cup pulls.

The contemporary stainless steel and glass vent hood with glass mosaic tile behind it all the way up to the ceiling is a perfect focal point for this kitchen. Light rail moulding at the bottom of the cabinets is a nice finishing touch and helps hide the under cabinet lighting.
