Shekar Residence
A colonnade of mobius aluminum posts and beams interspersed with skylight
shafts of varying sizes and azimuths creates a light filled corridor that reimagines
the sacred Japanese Kairō. From the main entry to the pool, the new covered
path slices through the 1930’s house (with its 1970’s addition) organizing and
linking together the flanking spaces of the rearranged modern house.
