A corrugated metal and glass-skinned addition extends a traditional “Chevy House” providing new and improved spaces for a growing family in a historic Washington DC rail suburb. Windows from the kitchen, family room, and floating bedrooms are carefully focused to provide views through the new space to the garden and ultimately a glimpse of passing trains beyond the adjacent woods.
