A single family house, which had 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, wasn't being used to its potential. The basement height was 6'5", just too low to use. So we jacked the house up 4' to allow for a spacious lower level apartment. We added 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, plus a sunken patio to allow for a bright and inviting entry.
