Small Kitchen Update

Townhomes and rowhouses in Baltimore aren't known for having large kitchens, so the goal of this remodeling project was to maximize the space available. The homeowner wanted a more functional design with a clean and simple style. This project was completed in 3 weeks and on-budget.

The kitchen is now practical, functional, and feels like a much larger space. Two prep areas are located near the stove.

Custom shelves were created using the old butcher block countertops.

Small Kitchen Update

The old space did not flow well so the stove was moved to this wall to create more functionality. Subway tile and a hood were added to create a style and a convenient cooking space. The refrigerator was relocated to the opposite wall.

Functional & Beautiful

With a small space, it's important to use lighter finishes and lighting to brighten things up! By re-working the floor plan, the homeowner now enjoys tons of counter and cabinet space!

Brightening up a dark space

By removing the old wall in between the kitchen and dining room, the entire kitchen was opened up for an open concept and a bar/island area was created.
