This poolscape fits into a small space in between a beautiful back porch and an aircraft hanger. There was a need for a large amount of patio space but i think the paver color and the planting areas help to soften it. We put in some subtle details like the color band in the walls and around the pool coping as well as the main feature, the compass rose. Yes, it does point to magnetic north!
