The design requests for this Hinesburg, Vermont owner's first residential project were: to preserve all healthy trees, the house was to nestle into and not dominate the site, to have a big summer porch with views to Camels Hump and to feature a relatively open main level floor plan.

The upper level would have three bedrooms and two full baths, the walk out lower level could be finished at a later date. The house is 2,009 square feet of conditioned area on the main and upper levels.
