Spanish Point
This project required the integration of our accent lighting on the main architecture, but it also had to balance with the existing coach and post top lights that were originally installed on the property. In order to achieve a balance, we replaced the lamps in the coach and column top lights with lower output LED lamps so that the glare wouldn’t overpower the softer, reflective light on the stucco walls from the up lighting. The central fountain and courtyard fountains were features that we definitely wanted to bring into the design. We also needed to provide illumination for the outdoor living area in the back of the home. It was necessary to create a warm and inviting environment where the family could enjoy the warm summer evening together around the pool and outdoor kitchen and living room. Illumination of the surrounding trees added a sense of space and enclosure to the outdoor space as well.
