At this Springbank home we completely renovated the main floor and part of upstairs as well as installed a new high efficiency direct venting furnace and hot water tank. We moved the kitchen wall over several feet to enlarge the kitchen and we converted the formal dining room into a walk through pantry and mudroom with access directly from the garage. The wall that was removed was load bearing so a steel flush beam was installed and a significant amount of plumbing and hvac that was in the wall had to be relocated. The stairway used to be very closed off and the walls were removed and replaced with glass railings. We we responsible for the complete project including: planning, engineering/architecture, design, and general contracting.
