We strive to listen, really listen to each one of clients. We look for clues for how they live and how they want to live. We love to know their favorite colors, music, hobbies. What brings them joy, and what stresses them out! We can channel all that to give them a home of comfort and peace (with a healthy dose of playfulness too!).

Once in a while, you have clients that know themselves so well that your project is a true collaboration. Such was the case with our Starfish project. Now, if you know me, you know that I use navigation as a suggestion. I love that it can help me get there, but I also love the detour. Our Starfish clients were awesome navigators and they were willing to take a few unexpected turns, and we couldn't be happier with the result!

Our clients came with a home mostly designed by them, from the ground up, so I knew that we already had their hearts. A beautiful stone archway, playful shiplap throughout and an inspired media room complete with a glass garage door that opened up the side of the house revealing the beauty of nature just beyond. I could work with this!

Together this fun loving adventurous family of four and I were able to create a forever home that completely reflects who they are for now and in the future. Marrying elements of nature and beauty without sacrificing function and 21 century technology.

If the Starfish project were a word, it would be "Ahhhhhhhh"
