Many of the homes built in this development had a loft. We wanted to create a space that could be used as a bedroom and be considered a bedroom, but also have the flexibility to be used as a loft as well.

To give the privacy of a bedroom and the flexibility to use it as a loft, we added in french doors.

The loft overlooks the living room and kitchen area, providing little to no privacy.

Most of the loft wall was closed up except for a window that could be closed off.

There was also an added barn door style window that overlooks the living room and kitchen to maintain an open concept if needed.
