This concrete and wood frame house is located in the New Town district in Key West. The existing 1950s structure was completely gutted and renovated. A master bedroom wing and a two-story guest bedroom and garage wing were added as well as a new covered entry and pergola, octagonal pavilion, and rear porches. The house is classic Bermuda-style, and materials and color palette have been selected to reinforce this style with warm-colored stucco, white concrete roof tiles, and extensive use of mahogany, river-recovered heart pine, and salvaged Chicago brick.
