Our clients had lived in this home a few years and never used the back deck because of the harsh sun and it just wasn't practical. They decided to make this deck into a sunroom that they could actually use and enjoy. This is extra living space for their visiting grandkids as well. They used Pella designer series windows with blinds between the glass for the afternoon sun. They also used a ductless split air conditioning system in the ceiling to make sure this room stays cool.
