This modern, energy-conscious towerhouse takes advantage of previously developed terrain. The house is located in Sunset Park, an infill residential block in Asheville's historic Craftsman district. The district was originally laid-out on steep terrain before the advent of the bulldozer. As a result, the buildings had to conform to difficult land forms in creative ways. This house exemplifies a modern hybrid of the Asheville Craftsman tradition with modern living and function.
