We completely modified the exterior, ground floor, second floor baths and converted the attic into a new finished home office for this single family home in Ardmore, PA.
The exterior was updated with a new standing seam metal roof, new windows and recladding the existing entry canopy with ipe. In the Kitchen, we removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room as well as around the existing stair. The result is a new modern kitchen/dining space separated by bar seating. The living room has also been updated with new lighting and a fireplace surround clad in walnut and slate to integrate the wall mounted flat screen TV. The living and dining are separated by a new stair with exposed treads and risers with a steel and glass handrail to complete the open, modern look. A new powder room was also added as there was previously no bathroom on this level of the home.
