This project was designed a few different ways and we ended up with what is the most functional and beautifully laid out. This family has company over all the time and like most homes, is the hub of the house. This unique 'boomerang' shaped island allows for everyone to be able to face each other and speak without having to adjust to see everyone. This dark stain adds such a warmth and richness to this kitchen that it will hold its style for years to come.
