Completed basement development.
We installed DriCore sub-floor as well as sanded plywood underlay where the new vinyl plank has been installed.
The ceiling is insulated with Roxul Safe n' Sound and is covered with a suspended ceiling & LED recessed lighting.
Extra power outlets & a 3 level lighting system have been installed for convenience.
French doors w/glass compliment the space but allow privacy for the basement exercise area/office space.
There is a 3 piece bath for guests and convenience as well.
The playroom under the stairs is a great place for the kids to have their own area to hang out in, and the green paint in the studio makes this classroom a lot more fun for the students.
Although there are no bedrooms in this basement, we enlarged all three windows for egress purposes, even though it is not necessary for code compliancy.
It's warm, it's bright and it's a great new space for learning and playing.
