Our home was built in the '50s. We have 3 small children, 4, 7, & 8 years old. We have lot's of pets, dogs, rabbit, gecko, chickens, and the oldest living hermit crab known to man.

We love the challenge of finding something along the road side and turning it into something useful for our home. Our house is sort of large, so furnishing it HAD to be on a budget. Most items in our home were trash picked. I simply clean them up painted them, (or not) sometimes added legs if necessary, and reused them in our home. Our house is warm and comfortable with lots of conversation pieces in each room. Our house is the neighborhood hang out.

I love farmhouse style the most, with pops of color here and there. Mostly, I decorate with what I have on hand. I make do with what ever I find at a yard sale, flea market, or along the side of the road. I love to upcycle and give old things new life. Or, simply use something in ways other than what it was intended to be used as. I hope you enjoy my home tour. Thanks!
