A family oasis, The Phoenix is suited for a family of four and is designed to meet current and future needs as their children transition in to their teenage years.

The home is divided in to three levels, each with unique characteristics. The third level houses the master suite, complete with a private sitting room with large south and west facing windows to maximize daylight. A generous roof top patio can be accessed from the third level, the patio functions as the family’s outdoor living room where they enjoy time together playing ping pong and soaking up the sun.

The main floor is the central hub of the home and is divided in to two spaces to keep the mudroom and sports equipment room separated from the more serene kitchen and living room. A guest suite is located on this level and for increased privacy can be closed off from the rest of the house.

Lastly, the basement level is a kid’s dream, complete with a large recreation room and two custom bedrooms suited for two active, young children.

Creating a connection between indoors and out and inviting in the sun as much as possible were two intentions set from the start of the project. This is achieved by strategic sight lines from the main living areas to the back yard and the large, south facing roof top patio.

From a sunny and bright refuge, to an action packed rec room and roof top patio, the home will serve many functions to suit the family’s changing needs.
