The Richardson is a clean and contemporary design, balanced by diaphanous light. Our designers set the mood of this apartment with a very sophisticated monochromatic color scheme. The client of this project wanted to keep the home elevated, but with subtle hints or luxury. The use of strong contrasting materials gives the space a grounded harmonious feeling. With the use of natural materials, not only in the kitchen and living room, but also on the floor, evokes a feeling of warmth and an attachment to Earth. The client wanted to maintain a level of contemporary glamour but not be too feminine or masculine, which BLD succeeded in doing so with such a balanced palette.
