The Stanley project has a strong, grounded, and contemporary style, which creates a feeling of warmth and comfort throughout the home. The client wanted a moody feeling, but with that in mind, our designers did not want to lose lighting. The darker tone of this design evokes an emotion that is soothing and has an ambiance at any time of day. A prominent south-facing window wall, protected by a large roof overhang, facilitates year-round passive heating and cooling. Much like many of our other designs, there is an accent color throughout the home. Each piece was implemented to achieve a cohesive and balanced design without letting the room feel smaller or too dark.
