This kitchen started out as something that could function alright...nothing phenomenal...however it did not suit the aesthetic vision that the clients conveyed in our initial meeting. I noticed that they had huge gardens and an orchard visible from one tiny window. They also have two active little boys who could take over the backyard for independent play only if the parents could see them and be reassured they were safe. The first order of business was to open up the back wall of the house with vast amounts of windows and doors, then reconfigure/redesign the kitchen. The following pictures are the proof that going the extra step is well worth it. Many hours of design discussions, drawings and details, not to mention site supervision and viola... The final product fits the clients needs perfectly down to the last detail...check out the waterfall counter tops. The clients love their new kitchen...who wouldn't?
