theSAGE is a 2-bedroom, 1,447 sq ft home that was on the Eugene Home Builder’s Tour in 2009. theSAGE easily achieved Platinum at 110 points, making it the highest scoring LEED Home in the State of Oregon (and West of the Rocky Mountains) at the time of its certification. We were also part of the City of Eugene’s pilot program on green building. Some of its sustainable features include: a super-high efficiency advanced double 2x4 framed walls with agribalance spray foam insulation (R-32), high-efficiency windows oriented for natural light, active solar hot water heater & 2.1 kW solar photovoltaic systems, night-time natural cooling, heat recovery ventilator, passive ventilation, super high efficiency electric heat pump, zero-VOCs, EnergyStar appliances, low flow shower heads, dual flush toilets, and drought resistant landscaping.
