This kachelofen (masonry heater / grundofen) heats three rooms with one fire in a "carbon-neutral" farmhouse in Cairn Valley, Scotland, designed by Mark Waghorn Architects, which won a Green Apple Environment Design Award (2013) and a Scottish Design Awards commendation (2014).
