The house is located in the densely populated area of Coconut Grove in Miami Florida. The street that the project is located on is a busy street connecting two urban areas. The site is narrow and edged by a very large two-story residence on its western side. The location of the adjacent structure served well as it provided the much-needed shade during the hot afternoon hours. The site design wraps around a central courtyard to which the house generally opens. The site is designed as to be one seamless living experience with interior and exterior rooms or spaces.
