Timeless Blue and White
Completed just before the July 4th holiday, the fireworks continue at this Strathmore-Vanderbilt renovation and furnish project. Upon entry the space saving home bar of Artistic Azul Cielo and River Shell blend mosaic tiles is ready to greet. The open space kitchen and family room is bright and functional with a quartz countertop, a backsplash with a custom floral mosaic and a surround with ceramic white subway tile it is ready to welcome and entertain. We selected all furniture, lighting, wall and floor materials for this home.
The open concept great room include a gorgeous kitchen with tons of cabinetry and a cozy sitting area for hanging out and watching TV or chatting with friends. The perfect spot for entertaining friends and family for the holidays.
The powder room brightens anyones mood. Don't be afraid to use a bold pattern in a small scale room. By adding the applied box panel under the chair rail and painting it white we are breaking up the visual of an entire wall of print. It also breaks the geometric floor from the floral paper. Always think about how to balance all the elements in a room.
Dining spaces don't always have to be in a traditional dining room setting. This dining space is highlighted by the mirrored side flanking cabinetry which doubles as a coat closet and china cabinet. The beautiful monogrammed head chairs in navy velvet anchor the table while the lively blue and white geometric window treatments and pillows add drama to the cozy dining nook. By making a built-in cabinet and banquette seat we were able to gain a much needed coat closet and china cabinet while also sliding the table closer to the wall which allows for more space in the seating area of the living room.
