I designed this quaint tiny chalet using reclaimed barn boards and beams per the home owners request. They had a 6'x8' platform from an old tree house for the footprint so I designed from there incorporating desired elements they had in mind and in a pile! The windows and French doors I added were strategically placed for light, cross breezes of the prevailing winds and ambiance of the views. After it was built I assisted in decorating and furnishing the tiny space to max out its potential for its future desired multi uses. Although it doesn't boast of any plumbing it does have electric, a mini woodstove, flip down side table, sleeping loft for two and best of all peace and quiet..... away from the world, in pristine woods facing west for an unbeatable sunset view! Sometimes you have to do less to get more.
