This project was a suburban, two-story, traditional home where we left much of the golden oak trim but painted the family room built-ins white to go with their (recently remodeled) adjacent kitchen. We added new carpeting in the family room, refinished hardwood floors throughout, and a new wall color, along with transitional furniture, area rugs, and accessories to the rooms on the main level, in order to give everything a more updated look and feel while staying true to the home's overall style.
