In this small kitchen remodel, bringing in lighter materials brightened the space. By putting in new hardwood floors (in the kitchen and surrounding rooms) it helped with the flow of the floor plan and made the entire house feel larger. New windows allowed for more natural light and the decorative light fixtures add multiple focal points to the room.

The cabinets with the glass inserts and wood detail add to the feeling of an open kitchen, while adding that "wow" factor to the space. By using the light cabinets and wall colors, we were able to make the ceilings feel higher when in reality they were low.
