This transitional space was brought together for a client who loves cooking, baking, and spending time together with family in the kitchen. We had very limited space so we included unique storage options such as toe-kick drawers for baking sheets, upper pullout pantries, a dining room hutch and reading nook, closable corner storage for appliances, wine fridge and display, pullout corner storage solutions, and adjustable drawer organizers. We also included dimmable pot and accent lighting to allow best visibility while preparing, and perfect ambiance while dining and visiting. We opened the kitchen by removing the interior wall and replacing with a full height credenza which doubled as additional storage and a platform to serve and enjoy meals. The project flows through into the living room building a new fireplace and entertainment centre to tie the design together through the entire space.
