Trinity Bellwoods Victorian
Hannotte Interiors strives to provide clients with a foundation to build personal narratives of home. The client had lived in her home for about a year and had a keen eye for art and understood her aesthetic leanings but was hesitant to make decisions on her own and so she commissioned me to lay the ground work the first floor of her home. We replaced all the light fixtures, painted everything a crisp white (including kitchen cabinets), and updated the sink and countertops, while re-configuring the island in the kitchen. Several pieces of furniture belonged to the client already, and we wanted to work within a reasonable budget to allow her to gradually add to the spaces on her world travels. We brought in two new end chairs to the dining room, along with a large leaning mirror and locker-style credenzas. In the living room, a pair of new Tolomeo lights sit above the existing sofa, and a new side chair and vintage drum were brought in the room. The kitchen was completely re-faced, which saw the existing cabinets sprayed out in Benjamin Moore's Cloud White, a practical mix of butcher-block and marble counters, and a new apron-front sink. New hardware from Restoration Hardware, and a pair of pendants from Rejuvenation Lighting complete the look.
