Jenn was fantastic - she helped us with things we'd been having trouble figuring out in our place (since my partner and I are both dunces at choosing appropriate paint colours). Jenn helped us draw up a plan for layout, furniture (goals), paint, and artwork. We loved the plan she created and are still picking away at it almost two years later. If we need her help again, we wouldn't hesitate (ie when it comes time to arrange art on our walls ) or paint any of the rooms we didn't put on our original list. We also really appreciated that she was into us thrifting and upcycling finds to mix with some of the new pieces she suggested. Jenn rocks!

Jenn gave me exactly what I was looking for - an affordable consultation on how to spruce up the dingy principal rooms and front porch of my house with stylish paint colours, textiles, and accessories. I really appreciated how she meshed her aesthetic with my own, as well as with the reality of my limited budget. She was also very accessible and willing to answer my many follow up questions. Highly recommended, so easy to work with, and I can't wait to hire her again to help with some other rooms in the house.

Jenn was a pleasure to work with. My wife and I needed help turning our crazy cluttered family house into a more stylish and calmer space and I am very happy with how everything turned out. Jenn was a great support for us as I wanted to DIY most of the work. She was very responsive to my texts and random questions. Her recommendations for furniture and fixtures and window treatments were always spot on and she was very deft at figuring out what our style was given my wife and I's somewhat divergent tastes. In the end, we are left with a space that feels authentically "us" but that we could not have pulled off without Jenn's guidance. Thanks Jenn!

We have worked with Jenn three times now for staging 2 condos and our Victorian home for sale. Her work is incredible, she has a great eye, sources great finds for the project, and is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a stager that is going to make your place stand out and look amazing. Thanks again Jenn!

I just finished consulting work with Jenn Hannotte. She provided me with an incredible road map to start furnishing my new home. She is reliable, professional and has the kind of unique taste that assures you that you will be inspired throughout the process. And she does what most of us who think we have style needed most - someone who was both responsive to my own style and feedback, but clear on what works and what doesn't. I happily and highly recommend her services.

Jenn designed and project-managed a year-long large gut renovation of my century-old brick Victorian house. I began with very specific design ideas and Jenn's input and incredible taste resulted in a true collaboration that far exceeded my expectations. Jenn was a joy to work with at every step: professional, relatable, reliable, and fun, with an excellent instinct for balance that helped focus and refine my eclectic tendencies. Before construction, she sourced and managed all quotes and helped the permit process along. Once construction was underway, she was regularly on-site and was the first point of contact with trades and contractors. She took the lead at the hardest times and displayed an impeccable instinct for when to call with big questions and when to handle the small stuff on her own. Meanwhile, she translated my input and ideas into image boards for nearly every room in the house, sourcing finishes, fixtures and hardware before tackling a great deal of the furnishings as well. She became a trusted advisor and sounding board for practically every interior decision and the finished project reflects her influence in every room. Jenn is an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her services.

Any interior designer worth their fee can make your home look like a page out of H&H. Jenn Hannotte certainly has the skills to accomplish this but her real value is her ability to create an interior that looks professionally done but one that also feels warm and livable. Very few designers can do this well and the result is often a room that looks staged. Jenn has a great sense of style and balance and knows how to give a room character. If these things are important to you - I'd talk to her about your project. We hired Hannotte Interiors to help finalize our interior finishes and Jenn did an awesome job. We'd highly recommend her and her team!

Jenn provided me with amazing design concepts that were much better than I could have ever envisioned. She suggested a style that was uniquely me but also timeless and contemporary.

If you've been contemplating an interior designer and worried about jumping into this unknown world, look no further then Jenn at Hannotte Interiors. I initially contacted Jenn to help me bring some much needed direction to a few of my rooms, when she observed her services would be better used for my basement renovations (from completely unfinished to playroom, laundry room, bedroom, secret playhouse, storage room and bathroom). I was impressed with Jenn's up front manner on her website with her fee breakdown and simple explanation of her services. Jenn immediately came out to my house in Whitby, Ontario and made suggestions. The project lasted over 6 months and in this time Jenn was always available on email and always ready as a sounding board. Most of the project was designed via email due to us being away from our home during the renovation. Jenn made the entire project seamless. Jenn's strength lies in her ability to hone in on your individual tastes. Although her natural and very fresh choices on her website may entice you, she will quickly bring you on a wonderful journey, invite you as a collaborator and gently guide you to your final design. It was an absolute pleasure designing the basement with Jenn. I started with an idea and it morphed into something even better; this is all due to Jenn and her guidance. Jenn's enthusiasm and energy are infectious. You will find it hard to only have her do one room. Take the leap and call Jenn. She is affordable and well worth every cent for her artistic eye. You can trust her, and you and your rooms will be very happy. Sincerely, Karolina Baker Whitby, ON

I contacted Jenn after seeing her design work on Houzz. I loved the originality she displayed. Her rooms are simple but daring, lasting, comfortable, cool...you want them in your house and in your friends' houses so you can hang out in them! We renovated my three bedroom home together. Flooring, bathrooms, paint, furniture, lighting. I ended up with a unique home without it feeling trendy. Wow. Jenn was always respectful of my ideas and tastes but she would take them and make them infinitely better! She is so easy to work with. Her open, creative personality paired with the confidence she has in her ability to create great design makes projects fun! She stays on budget. Couldn't ask for more.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jenn. From ensuring colours convey a specific mood, to staying committed to a theme of a project, one thing remained true in her work: her eye for design is very impressive. From start to finish, Jenn listened to our requests, offered suggestions and most importantly was honest with us whenever an idea would not work and even provided reasons on why it wouldn't as opposed to simply saying it wouldn't. Most importantly, she was able to take each of our design tastes and create a home we both will enjoy for years to come. Although at first we thought this would be a challenge for her, she was not only able to meet both of our visions for our first home but also exceed them through using things we already had (ie. books and pictures) to reupholstering a vintage chair of ours. We would not hesitate to hire her again or recommend her to friends or family.

I'd long been an admirer of Jenn's work on design blogs and so when it was time to tackle our very first kitchen reno I knew exactly who to call. Being a total novice on the homeownership front I had no idea what I was doing, but Jenn expertly walked us through the whole process of designing our kitchen. When things got complicated at the last minute, Jenn was totally cool and understanding and completely reworked the design within an hour of my panicked call. We now have an amazingly functional kitchen that looks pretty, too - and on a relatively tiny budget. Plus she's funny and generally awesome and was great to hang out with during the process. I'll definitely be hiring her again!
