This 10’ x 12’ structure was commissioned as a library/writing studio for a director. The site is nestled on the ocean side of Topanga with large windows framing the views of the mountains beyond. The studio references the vernacular with its exterior redwood vertical siding wrapping a covered porch and deck. Slowly, over time the redwood will weather to a gray, blending in with the beautiful surrounding landscapes.
