Twin Palms
The challenge to this project was the fact that the master bath was very narrow and not possible to expand. Because of this, the use of a large floating mirror gave the sense that the bathroom was much larger than its true scale. Floating cherry cabinetry was fitted with white Silestone and Duravit vessel sinks were incorporated for visual interest. Wall-mounted Hansgrohe faucets were fitted onto a colorful glass mosaic backsplash for a colorful focal point upon entry to the vanity area. The floating mirror was backlit and the underside of the floating cabinetry was underlit to allow for a soft indirect glow in the evenings. Careful attention given to cabinet depths and finish selection to compensate for the narrowness of the space; the end result was a functional master bath that was both beautiful and functional.
