Updated 1960s Dallas Ranch
After becoming empty-nesters, these homeowners downsized from their long-time home in Highland Park. They had very little time to find a house and settled for a 1960s ranch style home in Dallas.
Light remodeling was done in the kitchen to remove a green island with claw feet. The counter was expanded to include the kitchen sink and dishwasher. New quartz countertops and marble backsplash were installed.
New hardwood floors were installed throughout the house.
Most furnishings and accessories were purchased new for this house. The homeowners kept very few pieces from their previous home. Notably the Victorian chairs in the formal living room belonged to the client's grandmother.
