A large round banquette and a custom desk that can serve 1 chair or 2 is what was custom built for this kitchen nook. This family of 5 can easily enjoy meals together or with additional friends with this amount of space. When an extra chair is needed for the desk at homework time they can steel from the dinette. We have changed all the window and doors and their frames from an orange/red to a dark mahogany. A difficult task but was worth the effort. Light walls and dark woods gave this dated gold and brown traditional Mediterranean home a younger feel for the new younger homeowners
