UPLAND

The original house had a dark and disjointed living floor plan that lost a lot of space to redundant circulation paths.
In removing walls and hallways, we were able to blast open the kitchen and dining rooms to connect them visually and spatially with the grand living room and entry while brightening the whole floor up with additional and larger windows opening up views to the bay.

We took a more surgical approach in the private spaces upstairs, cleaning up bathroom access between bedrooms, modernizing the primary suite, and making space for an efficient laundry room.
