My clients were desiring a more open floor plan so they could have a fantastic place to entertain. The original plan was very compartmentalized and the kitchen was not very functional with quite a bit of wasted space. My goal with this project was to create a modern kitchen that had a timeless feel. The new ivory cabinets and trim brightened this space immensely and is balanced by the deep and rich wall color and hardwood floors.
The addition of the white painted boards on the custom hood and partial height dining wall gives the space some unique texture and creates a fresh beachy feel.
