Upper East Side Combination

This new home is a combination of three apartments on the top floor of a Manhattan apartment building. The new layout positioned the public spaces of living room, dining room, kitchen, entry foyer and powder room on the one end of the floor, with the den, three bedrooms and bathrooms on the other side. This layout allows for entertaining without disrupting the children's routines.

Maple wood floors and white walls create a relaxing and open sense. the kitchen is open to the dining room and has a large island for kids to eat and do homework.

Designed for a family with three boys, this apartment features a large open living room dining room kitchen area. The floors are a pre-finished maple hard wood which are contemporary and light.

the kitchen island has two levels. the lower for cooking has a granite Taj Mahal stone countertop. the upper level is a walnut wood custom millwlork ledge for keys and mail. Square downlights are recessed in the ceiling.

In order to create a kitchen for this family we combined two existing small kitchens. The new kitchen has ample counter tops, radiant heated floors, Thermador appliances and frosted glass upper cabinets. The custom island hides utilities.

The entry foyer leads to the bright and large living room and dining room. A customer wood millwork pieces separate the kitchen from the foyer and allows for keys and mail to be neatly stored. It is also designed for the owner's art collection.

A custom wall mounted vanity with light below makes the space feel larger. A wall mounted toilet and standing shower flank the vanity. A thick stone countertop give the space a sense of luxury while not braking the bank.

Clean and simple design was the goal for the boy's bathroom. White lang metro tiles with a band of glass green mosaic tiles. a floating vanity set and wall mounted toilet help keep the room clean.

Millwork along the windows creates extra storage and hides the radiators and AC units. the room is bright and clean.

this room which was originally a tiny kitchen was converted to a home office. while small, it is efficient and ergonomically designed for comfort and efficiency.
