The challenge, coordinated by the Northside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance Inc. of Hartford (NINA) was to transform one block of the Asylum Hill Neighborhood of Hartford. Spring Lake Garden Design was assigned one front landscape and won Best Front Garden Transformation. The judging was conducted by members of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), Connecticut Chapter.
